A couple weeks ago I got a message from a guy named Sean who runs Mail A Spud. I have seen other companies like this before but he wanted us to give them a try and always in the mood for something a little different, I gave it a shot. A little while later after I had totally forgotten about the conversation with Sean, I hit the PO Box one night to check for the usual bills and junk mail. God forbid I get a check or a letter that a rich aunt I never met kicked the bucket and left me her estate, but I digress. To my surprise the only thing I found was a potato:
Just as they described on the website, it was a potato (that smelled delicious). It was a nice and funny surprise and I can totally see someone getting a kick out of it if they had no idea it was coming. My next thought was WTF do I do with it now? I had the idea to throw it at someone but it had my mailing address on it so that wouldn’t have been the best idea. I think I’ll just plant it and see if I can grow some more.
