Destination Unknown – Alex Gaudino featuring Crystal Waters

This is an older video but it fits with PSTD Clarinet Boy in this week’s meme so we figured we’d throw it in. The music isn’t half bad, but the selling point is the marching band. If all high school marching bands looked like this it’s a safe bet that they would get a lot more street cred.

This week’s meme is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Clarinet Boy

The Back Story: The image like many is based off of an old photography trick where a photographer with no skill or creativity superimposes another picture into the image. With PTSD boy, we see a happy, smiling boy in his marching band uniform superimposed onto a picture of a serious boy. As if to suggest he’s thinking of a happier time, trying to get back to the smiling little boy, but the pain is too great, because of what he has done.

The set up: Take the stock image and add text to convey the pain that Clarinet Boy is holding inside.
