Colored Pictures Of Paris In 1914

Paris, the city of lights, has been loved for many reasons throughout generations.

A series of colored photographs taken back in 1914, unearthed by VisualHistory.livejournal.com, highlights some of France’s most iconic imagery in the past.

Featuring the original Moulin Rogue (made famous by Baz Luhrmann) and images of then-everyday life, the photographs document the end of the Belle Èpoque period.

Not only do they exude a strong sense of nostalgia, but also provide an escape from today’s technologically-advanced city.

Get Low – Live Acoustic Cover

Dan Henig decided to pull a little prank at the B-24 Coffee Shop in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was supposed to play an accustic set but decided to show off an amazing cover of Lil’ Jon’s “Get Low”, much to the amusement of the unsuspecting customers.

From Dan:

This weekend I set up an acoustic show in an unsuspecting coffee shop for the cover video, and this is what happened.

Good work Dan! The song actually sounds better this way. SKEET SKEET!
