Hey Beavers,
We’ve received some emails asking if we’re safe since the eye of #HurricaneIrma is going to pass right over us. Once again you guys show that you are the most awesome fans ever! I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know we evacuated at about 1am Friday morning after the forecast showed the shift towards Tampa. After 14 hours of driving we made it to our safe haven where we can ride out the storm. The Crescent City has always been one of my favorite places. So instead of evacuating we’re vacationing in the French Quarter! The kids and the dog are with us and we’re doing great. Yesterday was beignets and coffee at Cafe Du Monde, a carriage ride through the Quarter, beans and rice, gumbo, jambalaya, drinking (of course) and I got a tattoo! All in all we’re making the best of it. Not sure what we’ll return to after the storm passes but for right now it doesn’t matter.
If any Florida Beavers are still there please stay safe. We love you all and we’ll be back soon!
With 2016 finally coming to an end, it’s time for us to take part in the sacred tradition of figuring out what the best posts were. We’ve done the digging, compared the logs, did the math and finally have the list ready. Yet again the tumblr posts were VERY popular this year. It seems more so thank to Pinterest, and since that page grew by over 15,000 users since last January, it’s a trend that will likely continue. There were a few surprises this year but overall it’s a solid list. 
2015 is coming to an end so it’s time to take a look back at what you Beavers liked the most this year.
