We ran into Scott McNeil yesterday and for being the voice of pretty much everything cool, he’s actually a very personable and down to earth guy.

We were walking through the vendor room at Metrocon yesterday and spotted Kara Edwards and Brad Swaile signing autographs. They were nice enough to talk to us between autographs and even pose for some pictures.

Cosplay Wedding At Metrocon 2011
Back in 2000, Daniel and Cristin were friends in high school. After graduation, the two stayed in contact and eventually Daniel asked her out. Today, three years later, they returned to the spot where they shared their first date and realized how much they loved one another….Metrocon. Today they came to Metrocon not just for a fun weekend among other anime fans, but to get married at the Riverwalk of the Tampa Convention Center. With an army of cosplay fans cheering them on, Daniel and Christin tied the knot. Congrats to the newlyweds.
Beaver Badge Contest Winner – February
February’s winner of the Beaver Badge contest is Mike C. from Tampa! Mike thought that people may want something to look at while in a port-a-potty in South Tampa. At least he didn’t put it in the toilet. Congrats Mike, that $50 Visa gift card is on it’s way to you!
