Talking Zombeavers With Cortney Palm

Actress Cortney Palm For the release of our new favorite movie ‘Zombeavers’, we had the opportunity to sit down with the stunning actress Cortney Palm. We’re not really an ‘interview’ type site so when the chance to speak with her came up, Tracy our resident Canuck decided to take the wheel since she claims she’s ‘the more articulate one of the group’.

Tracy: “Thank you for taking the time to speak with us here at StrangeBeaver. I’d like to start out by saying I’m Canadian, so I’m a little biased. I mean, my beaver IS aggressive, but it IS very polite. Were any beavers exploited in the making of this movie?”

Cortney: “No ‘actual’ beavers no. Maybe Lexi’s (‘Jenn’) when she was sitting on the table. It was her first movie so she’s just sitting there with her legs spread eagle for like an hour and I was like why don’t you get down and cover yourself up or something. Other than that no beavers, they were all puppets so it’s all kosher.”

Christopher Meloni’s Butt, It’s A Meme Now

The Law & Order: SVU star has been causing tidal waves with female fans ever since he rocked his tighty whities on OZ. The grippies didn’t end there, he’s been seen in many episodes of L&O rocking his skivvies, only briefly though. Now the women are taking matters into their own hands and a new batch of memes are popping up highlighting his most prized asset. The meme has been refereed to as the SVU Meme, the Christopher Meloni Meme, or even Christopher Meloni’s Butt. Whatever it’s called let us all celebrate the fact that this guy’s butt got a meme before Kim Kardashian’s butt did.

Super Troopers 2 Might Actually Happen

They just hit their goal. $2million in one day is pretty impressive and shows the fans want this!

Yesterday the gang from comedy team Broken Lizard took to Reddit to pitch their idea for Super Troopers 2 and to plug their IndieGoGo campaign. It seems that big studios don’t see the value that this project presents so they need some seed money to get the ball rolling. In almost 24 hours they’re only 20% away from their $2million goal. We’re on the hook for a poster (I wish we could get a shirt in the film like we did with The Worst Year of My Life), so if you want to get in on the action check out their campaign!

A Casual Conversation With Actor Rex Linn

Rex Linn CSI:MIAMIAs a special treat for the release of Zombeavers, I had a chance to sit down and speak with actor Rex Linn who plays the role of ‘Smyth’ in the movie. This was a hard interview since Rex Linn is such an incredible actor and a veteran in the industry. What do you say to someone like this? How do you even approach him with your stupid questions? Well, as it turns out, he’s just a really great guy and very easy to talk to.

The ‘interview’ quickly turned into a casual conversation after about the first five minutes of speaking with him. Learning about his history and how he got to Hollywood was a great treat.

A young Rex Linn grew up in Texas and always had a love for movies. He recalls seeing an afternoon showing of ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ and being inspired. He walked out of the theater, called his mom to tell her he wouldn’t be home for supper that night, and saw the movie again. He had always wanted to be an actor since the age of five, but that movie ignited a spark in him to pursue that dream.

Happy Zombeavers Day!

The day we’ve been anxiously waiting for is finally here! Zombeavers releases in the US today with a limited theater run and VOD sources like iTunes.
